Chop Wood Basket of Apples

This week end, we found lots of old dry standing wood on our land and got it cut, stacked--ready for winter!! Almost 3 cord!! Then, back in our woods, we visited our big, old apple tree [the one fruit tree here when we got the land 16 years ago]. Lots of beautiful apples!! YEA!! Gathered a whole basket full. I made apple cobbler. yum!
